Good morning Johnnies!
I've been busy with school work and scheduling for my next quarter of classes this week. But I still manage to find time to watch more anime. While I was staying over at Nick's for the weekend, I started watching his collection of Ranma 1/2 DVDs. I've known about this anime for a very long time, but never got to watch it before. I'm a bit iffy about Rumiko Takahashi's works since they're very long and she doesn't seem to be able to end her series well to save her life. Like Inu-Yasha, which I gave up a while back. I find that I have a preference for her goofier works like Urusei Yatsura, and Ranma 1/2 of course.
It's sort of an old series. Depends on your definition of old though, I realized that the anime started airing exactly a week before I was born, in 1989. But I can recognize a lot of voice actors, especially Ranma, female Ranma and Genma. I'm already done with two boxsets, starting a third and will be moving onto the fourth one by the end of the week.
I just hope my opinion on this series won't crash and burn like my opinion on Inu-Yasha.
And Shampoo is way cuter than I expected her to be. Her broken Japanese is adorable.
